During autumn half term, we will have a feast awaiting you at Yr Ysgwrn, whatever your age.

Tuesday, October 26 – Creating Magical Trees with Mari Gwent.

We will be holding two craft sessions on the Tuesday, themed ‘Magical Trees’. The first session will be held at 10am – 12pm, and the second 1pm – 3pm.

The sessions are suitable for primary school children and free of charge!

Thursday, October 28 – medicinal plants and astronomy

We will have two events on the Thursday, suitable for all ages.

2:30 pm – presentation and talk with Bethan Wyn Jones about medicinal plants

5:30 pm – dark night event which will include an astronomy story session with Fiona Collins followed by a presentation and talk about Snowdonia’s dark sky status.

6:30 pm – Hopefully the evening will end with a chance to go outside to stargaze in the observatory but that depends on having a clear night!

There is no need to book in advance for these two events.
