A forum of organisations representing many important sectors in Eryri National Park, including leisure, conservation, agriculture, and tourism.
What is Fforwm Eryri?
Fforwm Eryri is an opportunity for all those involved in shaping the future of Eryri to collaborate in the region and beyond.
The forum works together to establish joint mechanisms for developing, delivering, and monitoring strategic objectives and actions within the Eryri National Park Partnership Plan, Cynllun Eryri.
In doing so, the forum provides a new way of working with relevant partners by fulfilling the Duties specified in Section 62 of the Environment Act 1995.
The forum meets quarterly to discuss progress on Cynllun Eryri, agree approaches on joint projects to hear updates from a variety of Partners. Those represented on the forum are approved by the National Park Authority on an annual basis.
Through this, Fforwm Eryri contributes to achieving the goals of the Well-being of Future Generations Act:
- A prosperous Wales
- A resilient Wales
- A healthier Wales
- A more equal Wales
- A Wales of cohesive communities
- A Wales of vibrant culture and thriving Welsh language
- A globally responsible Wales
