Why Volunteer?

Volunteer Wardens provide an invaluable service by helping the National Park’s Warden Service with work such as advising and providing information to visitors, litter picking and path maintenance.

Volunteer Wardens benefit from:

• Improving their mountaineering experience.
• Improving their Welsh language skills through our ‘buddy’ scheme.
• A variety of courses and walks with different local experts e.g. First Aid, Local History, Geology around Yr Wyddfa.

• Improve their countryside management knowledge and experience.
• A chance to contribute to Eryri’s sustainable future.
